NAD+ therapy stands for nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide, which is an active form of a coenzyme that plays a significant role in the chemical reactions within your cells. Among other things, NAD+:
• Turns carbohydrates, fats, and proteins into usable energy.• Regulates your body’s stress response.• Repairs and synthesizes DNA.• Regulates your circadian rhythms.• Promotes stem cell production.
As you age, your natural levels of NAD+ begin to decrease. If you add sickness and disease to the mix, your NAD+ levels deplete more rapidly.
• The aging process • Athletic performance • Anxiety, depression and PTSD • Drug and alcohol addiction• Cravings for drugs and alcohol after detox (PAWS) • Early Parkinson’s disease • Early Alzheimer’s disease • Early dementia • Multiple sclerosis • Early dementia • Other neurodegenerative disorders • “Chemo Brain” • Low energy levels • Chronic Fatigue Syndrome • Sleep disturbances • Chronic pain syndromes • Migraine headaches • Autoimmune diseases • Autoinflammatory diseases • Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy (CTE)
Treatment strategies at Klarity Clinic are tailored to your specific needs. We currently offer “weekend” treatments consisting of two 2.5-8 hour IV infusions of NAD+ over two consecutive days. These treatment durations allow for a larger amount of NAD+ to be delivered directly to the body’s tissues, allowing depleted stores to be replenished.
We also offer NAD+ injections or infusions in conjunction with our ketamine and/or intravenous multivitamin/nutrient (Myer’s Cocktail, glutathione, etc.) therapies in order to maximize the beneficial effect of the treatments. Klarity Life is offers detox treatments consisting of IV NAD+ and ketamine combination therapy over an 8-12 day period.
These detox programs will be available in our other locations in the future.
A brief assessment will be conducted on the day of treatment. For intravenous NAD+, a small IV will be inserted. The infusion will run for approximately 2.5-5 hours. The addition of Ketamine will greatly reduce this infusion time.
Patients desiring a subcutaneous injection need only stay for 5-15 minutes after the injection. The side effects of treatment are minimal and appear related to the rate at which the NAD+ is administered. At a faster rate, patients may experience slight upper torso pressure, abdominal cramping and lower leg soreness. Flushing, mild nausea, and a slight headache may also occur.
These side effects usually disappear within 15-30 seconds of slowing the rate of infusion. Patients are able to pass the time in our relaxing environment by watching TV, reading, and listening to music. You will also have access to high-speed internet and can bring your laptop for personal use.
Klarity Life will provide food and beverages utilizing an outside restaurant delivery service.
